01 / OVERVIEW
Independent thinking.
A wider horizon.
Éléonore Camille Varenne is the founder of Varenne Atlantic, a Miami-based private capital and enterprise firm with a transatlantic perspective.
Born in Monaco in 1988, she developed her professional outlook in London before relocating to Miami in 2024. Her interests connect the analytical disciplines of corporate finance and private equity with the priorities of family capital: continuity, thoughtful ownership and the ability to make decisions over a long horizon.
At Varenne Atlantic, her focus spans private equity fund research, co-investment analysis and direct business opportunities. She approaches these disciplines through a shared set of questions: how does a business create value, what can interrupt that process, and are the people around the table aligned?

02 / FORMATIVE INFLUENCES
A foundation
in more than finance.
Éléonore grew up in an international French and Swiss family environment. Her father’s work in corporate law and governance introduced her to the practical questions behind business ownership: responsibility, continuity and the decisions that shape a company beyond a single transaction.
Her mother’s background in art history and cultural preservation brought a complementary perspective. It encouraged an appreciation for context, stewardship and the distinction between something fashionable and something that can endure.
These influences inform her working style. She values preparation over display, clear language over unnecessary complexity, and relationships in which expectations can be discussed openly. Discretion, in her view, is compatible with rigorous work and accountable decision-making.
THE FOUNDING PERSPECTIVEBusiness quality. Aligned interests.
Time to develop.
03 / CAREER PERSPECTIVE
From financial analysis
to ownership thinking.
Her career perspective has developed from detailed company analysis toward a broader understanding of capital allocation, transaction execution and the responsibilities that follow an investment decision.
2006–2012Accounting, finance & management
Study in London and Paris centered on financial reporting, corporate finance, valuation and enterprise strategy. This period established the analytical foundation for her later work in company and investment assessment.
2012–2015Corporate finance
Early work focused on company valuation, industry analysis, financial materials and the execution process behind mergers and acquisitions. The emphasis was on understanding the financial evidence behind a business narrative.
2015–2018Private equity analysis
The focus broadened to acquisition modelling, commercial due diligence, investment memoranda and portfolio analysis—connecting business fundamentals with ownership structures and financing.
2018–2024Investment execution & portfolio perspective
Work centered on evaluating investment theses, coordinating diligence, considering operating priorities and following the development of businesses after a transaction.
2024 ONWARDMiami & the transatlantic perspective
Relocation to Miami created a new setting for her interests in US enterprise, European business expansion and family capital. Varenne Atlantic brings these perspectives together through fund research, co-investment analysis and direct opportunities.
04 / INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY
Conviction should
be earned.
Éléonore’s investment philosophy begins with the enterprise rather than the headline. She looks for a coherent explanation of how a business earns revenue, retains customers and converts operating activity into cash generation.
01Start with the business.
Understand the product, the customer and the economic model before relying on the language of a transaction.
02Examine the assumptions.
Separate the evidence already available from the operating improvements or market conditions an investment thesis depends on.
03Understand the structure.
Consider financing, ownership, decision rights and incentives alongside a company’s operating prospects.
04Plan beyond the closing.
Think about reporting, governance, capital requirements and the relationship that will exist after a transaction is completed.
She views patience as a discipline rather than a substitute for action. A long horizon is useful only when it is paired with a clear understanding of the business, the partnership and the conditions under which the original investment case should be reconsidered.
05 / INVESTMENT DISCIPLINES
Three lenses
on private capital.
Private equity fund research
Her fund work focuses on the manager’s strategy, the stability of the team, decision-making processes and the alignment created by fund terms. She is interested in what explains a manager’s results and whether that explanation remains relevant to the next investment period.
Co-investment analysis
At the individual transaction level, she brings together business quality, valuation, financing and sponsor alignment. The objective is to understand the enterprise on its own terms and the implications of participation alongside a lead investor.
Direct enterprise opportunities
For direct opportunities, her interests include established service and technology businesses, differentiated consumer enterprises and founder-led companies considering their next chapter. Growth potential is considered together with operational requirements and ownership continuity.

06 / BEYOND THE FIRM
Culture, place
and perspective.
Architecture, sailing and cultural preservation remain important personal interests. They reflect an appreciation for how places develop, how people work with changing conditions and how something valuable can be carried forward without losing its character.
French is her first language. She works in English and also speaks Italian. Her international background informs a communication style that is measured, direct and attentive to the different priorities people bring to an investment relationship.
